AE101: The progress

So far this is how the car looks now.

1. I'm currently making my own bodykit using the piece of the body (bumpers and side skirts)

2. The guy who made this car for GTA San Andreas (actually, it was converted from a free model website) has attach the doors with the side skirts to make into a door, which isn't what you shouldn't do when you making a scratch car or a real car. Now imagine what happens if you do that in real life..

3. This is how the door should look like after splitting the door and the side skirt, takes a few minutes to do it.

More to come, stay tuned.

I'm Back !

Hello, how are you ? Sorry I haven't updated this blog for a long time because I was so busy with college life, so busy that I completely left this blog abandoned. These days I'm feeling I wanted to get back to the world of 3D Modelling. I will post an update, so keep looking this blog for new post :)

The Revival of the Drift Machine : Part 4

When I was working on this car, I was thinking about putting a new bodykit on it and this is what I came up with it.

New fenders, I took this inspiration from the IMSA car although it doesn't look like it but it's close. This is my first time making my first bodykit with a help from my friend.

I had to get rid that black bumper to try decide either to make it or not.

But I choose not because it looks like a big hole. Just like in Herbie movies that has a S30 in it. It looks cool but that isn't my style.

That's it for now.

The Revival of the Drift Machine : Part 3

After the first test drive, I decided to put some gadgets on the center of dashboard. Including new switches

and new radio.

and then I took another drive with my DA on the streets of Los Santos.

That's it. Still W.I.P

So I take it for a test drive in Red Suns server on SA-MP. The server has changed very well. Anyway it works, no problems so far. I'm gonna keep continue to work on this car. It may take some time to complete it.

I created these pedals from scratch using ZModeler. Simple and meant to run smoothly in the video game. Sweet huh ? I might put it for download so I can share it with my friends. Just wait for the result.

The Revival of the Drift Machine : Part 2

Part two of the The Revival of the Drift Machine post, here's are the progress for the project so far.

Placed the new emblem I made from scratch on the boot. It look very good.

And now the heart of the car.

The Revival of the Drift Machine : Part 1

Well, I accidentally deleted my GTA Mods files. So now I recreated it, but a bit better then the first one. Still in process, but slow but surely. It will finish, just keep your eye on this blog if you wanna know the end of the revival.

Here are the pictures of the revival process.

Here you can see I'm installing the Tein suspension. Why ? Because the original looks crap. 3D MAN ! Every modders these days like detail. Just like game development.

Here you see a racing seats with harnesses and a handbrake is installed. Looking fine eh ?

Then, I've install the gear stick. Without that, this car is not going anywhere. Also I installed my 280Z Gauges  to make it really nice.

I move the handbrake a little bit to the back, as a suggestion from the followers of my Facebook Page.

Previous version of this car had like 20 or 21 inches rims on it now I making it some around 17 to 19 inches. To make it realistic and the words stands out.

Same for the side.

Finally, I've installed a racing wheel, a hub and new steering column :)

Well that's it for this post. See you guys later.
